Sorry, I have not posted in awhile, but it is my Birthday month (yes, I said month lol) and I have been trying to get a lot fun in. :)
I have been trying to come up with a better way to store all the cartridges I have accumulated since buying the Cricut. I have seen a few suggestions on the MB, but when I found this one, I thought, it is inexpensive, so if I don't like it, no biggie. Shannon over at Splatter Pattern posted this solution: http://splatpat.blogspot.com/2009/02/cricut-cartridge-storage.html It is an old post, so some of you may have already seen it.
I did try this and it worked out well. She posted all the dimensions to make the inserts. It was very easy to make.
Here are a couple of my completed storage boxes. Since all the big sales are coming up I thought I would share, just in case anyone wanted to try it. She suggests using the Snapware Ribbon boxes, but the other ones work as well. I used the medium 2 layer rectangle boxes for the cartridges. They only run about $9.99 or less, with a Joann coupon or sale you can pick them up for about $5. Starting Black Friday Joann's has all plastic storage 50% off for the weekend. Happy Shopping!
