Yarn, Yarn and more Yarn!!

It's a new year and I'm cleaning house!  During my quest to organize my craft/office space I have found a ton of stuff that I have not used and is just taking up room and collecting dust.  So, why not give it away?!?  I'm going to try and get two bundles of craft items together for giveaways in the next couple of weeks.

In my "Clean House" moment I also realized I have a ton of yarn.   As much as I would like to think I will make something I'm sure I won't  ;p  If anyone knows of a charity that might need it to make afghans or something let me know.  Or...if you guys would like a yarn giveaway let me know.  I'll get some bundles of yarn together.

Thanks!

Spring Cards....and BLOG CANDY!

I got the new Spring Holiday Cards Cartridge today and I had to open it and make a quick card.  I like the cute saying , but the cards are not folded.  You cut the top layer with the saying and then a solid background layer.  I wish they would have included at least one additional layer, but I made due.  :)  I used the cutout from the foam of the beer, added some pop dots, Stickles and googly eyes.  (I just love googly eyes!)  I think my little Green Beer looks cute.  lol

I also have some BLOG CANDY!  Sorry for the delay, I was sick over the entire holiday!  :(  But, I have a good one....3 Birds on Parade cartridge!  I will announce the winner on Monday January 10th.  Leave a comment on this post and an email address so I can find you if you win.

Good Luck to Everyone!

MPS Challenge: Pink, Green & Brown

Robyn at My Pink Stamper is doing another challenge.  This time it is for a spot on her design team!

Here are the rules:
Make a card, scrapbook page, or other Cricut project with your favorite cartridge using my favorite colors......

Pink
Green
Brown
(other optional color of your choice)

I used the Sweet Treats cartridge for everything on the card.  I cut the cupcake shaped card at 5" using the card feature.  I cut all the layers at 5" and I cut the tag on the inside at 3".  The tag came from the cut, I just turned on the tag feature.  I used the Cuttlebug to emboss the "frosting" using the Divine Swirls folder and the heart with the Swiss Dots folder.  To finish off the cupcake I added some Stickles!  The solid color cardstock is from a value pack at Joann's.  The printed cardstock is DCWV.  The stamp is a Hero Arts stamp from Michaels.
