Easter Card - Create A Critter Challenge

I'm craftin' my butt off today!  :)  I found a new challenge at http://twoscraptasticgals.blogspot.com/  They are hosting the Cricut Cartridge Chaos Challenge #3.  This week the challenge is to use the Create A Critter cartridge, one of my favorites!

I am getting a new "Goodie Box Bundle" ready for another giveaway.  I hope to post it tomorrow, so be sure to check back.

Here is my card for the challenge:

I cut the chick and the egg at 3",  I used a MS punch on the pink card stock, some ribbon Michaels and another $1 stamp from J's.  I didn't use any Stickles... I feel like he's naked!  lol

Valentine's Day Love Coupons

Ever since last Valentine's Day I wanted to make some "Love Coupons".  :)   Scrappy Moms Stamps are hosting a Terrific Tuesday Challenge (HERE) and the challenge is to use the Sweet Hearts Cartridge.  The cartridge has this great slider card on it.  I cut the envelope at 4 1/2", the slider at 4 1/2", the scallop tag (black) at 2 1/2", and an other (white) at 2 1/4".  I used some stamps I got in the $1 bin at J's and some embossing powder.  I added a 1/8 size eyelet using my Crop - A - Dile and added some stain ribbon from Michaels.

I used Microsoft Word to type the info for the coupon and then printed in on white card stock and just cut it at adhere to the "slider" part of the card.  My coupons are a little "racy", so I won't share that part. :D  TFL

Cricut Cardz Challenge #58 and Sesame Street Seasons 3D Snowman

I am so diggin' the challenges!  I think I am going to try and complete at least 2 challenges a week.  It's nice to do the challenges, they give you a place to start.  The nice people over at Cricut Cardz Challenge are hosting Challenge #58.  The challenge is to make a SNOWMAN-USING ANY CRICUT CARTRIDGE AND ANY COLORS.   So, I made the 3D Snowman from the Sesame Street Seasons cartridge I just got.  Then I realized that it is the Cricut CARDZ Challenge.   I think I better make a card.  lol

I made the card using the Winter Frolic cartridge.  I cut the sentiment at 2.5" and the Snowman at 3".  I used some spray adhesive, glitter and some Stickles on the snowman.  Added a ribbon and called it a day.  :)

Below, I cut the 3D snowman at 8" (I used the fit to page button).  He would make a cute table accent, but he doesn't like to stand up.  lol  I am going to see what I can do to make him stay upright.  TFL

More Than Favors Challenge - Love Potion Card

More challenges!!  I found another challenge at http://morethanfavors.blogspot.com/ .  The challenge is to make something from the Mini Monsters cartridge.  Click HERE to enter.  I really like this cartridge, so it's great to see some really cute ideas that are not just for Halloween.

I used the Mini Monster cartridge for the cauldron, Cricut Classic Font cartrige for the "LOVE" and a clear alphabet stamp set from Michaels for "Potion".  I added some ribbon, rhinestone and embossing powder to complete.

Here is a recipe for an adult "Love Potion":

Ingredients:
1 oz Vodka
1 oz Amaretto
1 oz Peach Schnapps
1 oz Cranberry Juice
1 oz Orange Juice
Ice cubes
Directions:
Pour ingredients into a shaker with ice, shake and serve on the rocks or with crushed ice. Add raspberries or cranberries as garnish.
